Winter Holiday Newsletter

Hope you are staying warm and toasty during this winter weather. While 2021 continued to present some challenges (ahem... COVID-19), we were thrilled and lucky to have achieved some pretty incredible feats too thanks to all of your support.

In June, we ran our first event that served as our pre-launch at the UA Field House in Baltimore. We played soccer and KanJam and even had Poe (the Baltimore Ravens mascot) join in the fun. We the board thank Living Classrooms for their support and Leveling the Playing Field again for providing us free soccer kits for all the youth. In addition, we thank Under Armour for sponsoring the pre-launch and providing t-shirts, which you can purchase by clicking here! We are a little biased, but the t-shirts are pretty dope.

We also were given an opportunity of a lifetime to throw out the first pitch at last year's Pride Night at the Park in June. No worries, the ball got to the plate...barely. We truly thank the Pride Center of Maryland and Baltimore Orioles for providing us that opportunity.

On September 25th we held our first official pickup game in Howard County at Cedar Lane Park. We played frisbee and volleyball and are grateful to The Charmery for providing all the youth free cream after the game. Yum! This was followed by our last pickup game of 2021 on October 30th which we called a Spooky Pickup Game at the aforementioned Cedar Lane Park. We played flag football and in the spirit of Halloween and of course, ate a lot of candy.
